The Challenge

The World Hunger Leadership Challenge was created by the USA TODAY Charitable Foundation and the Lift a Life Foundation, with assistance from the Yum! Foundation, to encourage middle and high school students to hone leadership skills by completing a service-learning project that solves hunger issues.

The 2014-15 Lead2Feed Challenge deadline has passed—winners will be announced in mid May. Don’t worry – we now accept Project Submissions all year long. As soon as your project is complete, please Submit via your dashboard. Your work will be entered into the judging for April, 2016—and you are eligible for the Leadership Awards Drawing for early entries—those are held in December and March each year. Click here to learn more about the project rules and how to submit your project.
